  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove chicken from the skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and stir-fry green beans for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and optional red pepper flakes; pour over the mixture in the skillet. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
