  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant (30 seconds to 1 minute).

  6. Return cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet, tossing gently to coat.
