  • 4 cups chopped green cabbage
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: chop cabbage, mince garlic and ginger, slice green onions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in chopped cabbage and cook for an additional 5 minutes until slightly wilted but still crunchy.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Pour over the beef and cabbage mixture; mix well.
  6. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Serve hot garnished with sliced green onions.
