  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • ⅓ cup brewed barley tea (non-alcoholic)
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Cornstarch (for thickening)
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken thighs at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, barley tea, apple cider vinegar, ginger, honey, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic.
