  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF and grease your donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Transfer batter to a piping bag and fill each donut cavity about three-quarters full.
  6. Bake for 15-16 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Brush with melted butter and coat in cinnamon sugar while still warm.
