  • 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Extra chopped pecans
  • Sea salt flakes
  • Drizzled caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix flour and brown sugar; cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  4. Press mixture into the prepared pan evenly.
  5. Sprinkle pecans over the crust.
  6. In a saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar; stir until bubbling and golden.
  7. Pour caramel over crust & pecans; spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Remove from oven; sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let sit to soften.
  10. Spread melted chocolate evenly and cool completely before slicing.
