  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 56 peaches, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt the cubed butter in a 9×13 inch baking dish in the oven for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add milk and vanilla; mix until just combined.
  4. Toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup.
  5. Layer half of the sweetened peaches over the melted butter in the dish. Pour batter over without stirring; add remaining peaches on top.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown and set.
  7. For drizzle, combine additional melted butter with maple syrup; boil for two minutes.
  8. Serve warm with ice cream or drizzle.
