  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup crispy cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cups whole milk

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add diced onion and sauté until soft. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  2. Mix in marinara sauce, crumbled turkey bacon, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; whisk in flour and cook for 1–2 minutes. Slowly add milk while whisking until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese and garlic powder; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, layer meat sauce, cooked lasagna noodles, béchamel sauce, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese until all ingredients are used up.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
