  • 1 cup fresh or canned peaches (diced)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In one bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla and sour cream.
  3. Mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Gently fold in diced peaches.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and toothpick comes out clean.
  5. For frosting, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; stir in brown sugar until dissolved. Add milk and bring to a boil before removing from heat; let cool slightly before whisking in powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
