  • 1/4 cup pumpkin pie puree
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk (any type will do)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (for coating)
  • 1 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together flour, light brown sugar, salt, baking powder, and pumpkin spice in a large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, combine pumpkin pie puree, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fill a donut pan halfway with batter and bake for about 12 minutes or until springy.
  6. Melt additional butter and mix cinnamon with sugar for coating.
  7. Once cooled slightly, dip each donut in butter then coat with cinnamon sugar.
