  2. Warm the milk until lukewarm.
  3. Beat egg whites with the cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Melt the butter and let it cool.
  5. In a large bowl, beat egg yolks with confectioner’s sugar until pale and frothy.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and cooled melted butter.
  7. Mix in flour and pumpkin puree using about 1/4 cup of warmed milk until smooth.
  8. Gradually add the remaining lukewarm milk to the mixture while mixing on low speed.
  9. Carefully fold in egg whites until combined.
  10. Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for about 60-65 minutes until golden brown and slightly set.
  11. Allow cooling completely before slicing; refrigerate for best flavor.
