  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed (1 stick)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and spices.
  3. In an electric mixer, beat together butter and pumpkin until combined; add sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the mix until just combined.
  5. For the crumb topping, mix cold butter with brown sugar and flour until crumbly.
  6. Layer half of the batter in the prepared dish, sprinkle half of the crumbs on top, then add remaining batter and finish with crumbs.
