  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. Toss beef strips in the marinade and let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Cook Onions: Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté sliced onions until soft and caramelized. Season with salt and pepper; set aside.
  3. Sear Beef: Increase heat to high; add 2 tbsp vegetable oil to the pan. Stir-fry marinated beef strips for 2-3 minutes until browned but tender.
