  • 2 tbsp milk
  • additional chopped pecans for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two round cake pans.

  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Add sour cream and milk to the mixture until combined.
  6. Gradually fold in dry ingredients without overmixing.
  7. Gently stir in toasted pecans.
  8. Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for about 35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
